The Director’s Cut of Ghost of Tsushima is now available on PC and is the perfect excuse to revisit the best of Japan.
WithAs many of you already know, Director’s Cut of “Ghost of Tsushima” It came out relatively recently on PC, and we at MARCA Gaming were lucky enough to try it out the other day. That’s why today I want to tell you a little about what I think about jumping between platforms, although I won’t beat around the bush. Since we are talking about a game that appeared many years ago, I don’t want to go into hundreds of details, but prefer to tell you something simpler. That is, We want to tell you how it works on PC..
Basically, yes, I want to make one thing clear: the original experience on PlayStation was really good, so we don’t expect anything different from Steam. Or what’s the same thing We’re talking about a truly great game that knows how to offer us the best of the best., especially for lovers of Japanese culture. To sum it up, I will tell you that this is a fantastic open world adventure game starring a samurai who decides to give up his pride in favor of his people, entering the world of light and shadows.
Using murder in many cases as a tool, and always leaving aside the honor of facing the enemy, allows us to recreate brutal invasion suffered by the Land of the Rising Sun when the Mongol Empire decided to expand its military campaign to your country. All told, here they are drawn as evil because they are enemies that need to be defeated, but it is not that simple. Anyway, this was already explored a long time ago when we fell in love with Sucker Punch back in 2020, so let’s move straight to the next point.
Ghost of Tsushima is coming to PC, and here’s what we think
One of the big failures of Ghost of Tsushima on PC is that it will ask us to have a PSN account to enjoy the Legends mode., that is, online multiplayer. Many countries will have difficulty with this issue and this is one of the reasons why it is not sold worldwide. For many of us, this isn’t a real problem since we already have a PlayStation Network account, but it’s something you should take into account. This is the only weakness (apart from some minor issues with DLSS3) that we saw in the game, otherwise it is simply great.
Overall, the new Ghost of Tsushima is very friendly to most players, as it doesn’t require particularly high requirements for enjoyment, even if it is recommended. A GeForce 2060 will be more than enough for you, although SSD memory is highly recommended.. In fact, if you don’t, it’s likely that the game won’t work the way you expect. If you have around 75GB of memory, an i5-800 processor (equivalent or higher), and 16GB of RAM or more, you’re in for a truly exciting experience.
Nixxes, the studio responsible for carry Ghost of Tsushima on PC has once again done a great job. In fact, the editors didn’t surprise us at all, since they usually do this really well. They are one of the best studios when it comes to bringing exclusive games from console to PC., and this case was no different. What does it mean? That with the help of a high-performance computer (but not the most powerful on the market) we were able to run it with very good graphics quality at a speed of over 60 framework per second almost always.
Moreover, the game is quite stable. Aside from some minor punctual hiccups, the production is truly remarkable. It’s more Being realistic and comparing it to the original, there is an interesting jump in power.. Lighting, textures, fluidity, loading times, etc. They’ve gone up a notch, which is why we find the version even better than the original. Honestly, it wasn’t easy at all, but they achieved it with a game that not only runs at 60 frames per second, but also does it with update important schedule.
That’s why, Ghost of Tsushima and its new PC version live up to expectations and, in fact, surpass them. It works and looks even better than the original version, making it an extremely interesting option for those looking to jump back into their world. If you haven’t tried it before, perhaps now is the time, as we’re looking at one of the standout PC games of 2024.
