As the Junta de Andalucía indicated in a note, the ‘Literature and Cinema’ programme, organizes, in collaboration with the Andalusian Film Library, a screening of films based on or inspired by literary works, presented or commented on by authors who consider the film. On this occasion, we introduce this program as ‘Graphic!’ Chakra, which is dedicated to giving visibility to the work of female writers and creators in the world of comics, manga and graphic novels.
The film tells the story of Adele, who is “15 years old and knows that it is normal to go out with boys, but she has doubts about her sexuality. One night she meets and unexpectedly finds a blue-haired Adele falls in love with a young woman, Emma. The attraction that awakens in him, a woman who shows him the path to desire and maturity, causes Adele to fall victim to the judgments and prejudices of family and friends.
