Cuban actress Ana de Armas was unable to take home the 2023 Oscar Awards statuette, but she still appears as a great winner.
Last Sunday, March 12, the 95th edition of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony took place. Likewise, important film figures from around the world gathered at the event, whose work and talent have been worthy of recognition.
As we know, the Cuban actress Ana de Armas was among the nominees for the 2023 Oscar Awards, in the “Best Actress” category. This, as a result of her prodigious performance in the Netflix movie, “Blonde”, where she gave life to the late actress Marilyn Monroe.

However, far from what some may think, this experience was by no means a defeat for the talented actress from Havana. On the contrary, the arrival of Ana de Armas at the 2023 Oscar Awards represents her greatest achievement as an actress, and also gives her greater relevance in the artistic environment.

As we mentioned before, despite the fact that Ana de Armas did not win at the 2023 Oscars, the nomination that she obtained represents a triumph in many ways.
