The Iscii allocates 10 million to personalized medicine projects

This investment is part of the joint action between the Isciii and the CDTI. Thus, you can grant up to a total of 55 million euros to finance collaborative R&D&I projects in health, through the funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. Specifically, up to 30 million in the form of loans and 25 million in grants. For its part, the CDTI plans to resolve the granting of its partially reimbursable aid for this joint action in the coming weeks.

This initiative is coordinated from the Ministry of Science and Innovation. Thus, it seeks to finance collaborative R&D&I projects in health between companies, research centers and organizations in the SNS environment.
Its objective is to coordinate scientific and business capacities to achieve faster progress in the development of clinical diagnostic products for personalized medicine and strategic emerging medicines, directing research and innovative efforts in the field of public-private collaboration towards challenges such as early diagnosis. and more precise, innovative and personalized treatments and improvements in monitoring and rehabilitation of chronic diseases.


These are projects for research on artificial intelligence in radiological diagnosis, preclinical development and evolution of antibodies for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer, rehabilitation of patients affected by gait disorders, gene therapy for rare diseases, generation of CAR-T cells for treat solid tumors and preclinical validation of nanoparticles with biomolecules for advanced colon cancer, among other initiatives.
