The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey is ‘incredibly excited’ for the new cast

Season two of HBO’s new zombie apocalypse show Last of us production is scheduled to begin in early February 2024. The show will be an adaptation of the second game in Naughty Dog’s video game series, which has a much larger scale and a more layered and expansive plot. As a result, the team leveraged the expertise of four elite directors. And the casting is very good at the moment.

One of the most important characters in The Last of Us Part 2 It’s Abby, a new character who finds herself in a very personal confrontation with Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a survivor we met in the first season. The series officially stars Emmy-nominated actress Kaitlyn Dever (Grounded, Bookstore) as Abby. Other newcomers include Isabelle Merced (Dina) and Young Masino (Jesse), two of Ellie’s closest friends from the video game.

Needless to say, Bella Ramsey is very happy with the cast of season two. “I’m incredibly pleased with who was chosen for the role,” they said. GamesRadar. “It’s exciting for me. I’m glad that a whole group of new people have joined our family. It will be a lot of fun.”

Kaitlyn Dever

Speaking about Kaitlyn Dever’s arrival, Ramsey recalled their first meeting back when Dever’s casting was still being decided. “I met Caitlin one time at the stupidest place at a party,” they said. However, their meeting was very short. “I met Caitlin there very briefly while we were waiting for our cars. I knew they were talking to her about casting at that point, so it was kind of a quiet type thing.”Hello‘and dorms and all that.’

“She’s great, Isabelle and Young are great too, I’m really excited to be able to work with them all.”
