The lover of the mafia boss Matteo Messina Denaro appeared before the authorities: what she said about the boss of Cosa Nostra

The mistress of the Sicilian mafia boss Cosa Nostradetained in Palermo (Sicily, southern Italy) after 30 years on the run, has confessed to the carabinieri (militarized police) who had a relationship with Matteo Messina Denarobut what I didn’t know who it was.

The three caches found so far are all in Campobello di Mazaraa town of about 11,000 inhabitants and less than 10 kilometers from Messina Denaro’s hometown, Castelvetrano.

The mistress, who assured investigators that Messina Denaro gave her a false name and was a kind and attentive manhas not been the only one to appear before the police, since there have been numerous witnesses who have come in recent days to reveal that they had met the capo without knowing it was him.

Among these witnesses, possibly fearful of legal consequences once their links became known, are merchants, restorers Y clinic patients where he was arrested, who have passed through the police stations in Campobello, but also in Palermo and Trapani.

In the records so far it has also been found clothing Y brand shoes, jewelry, precious stonesnumerous restaurant bills, condoms, viagra and according to the mediaplane tickets to the United Kingdom and South America, since the Prosecutor’s Office prefers not to specify the destinations to which he was traveling yet.

In addition, in their houses, Messina Denaro had, among other things, a wide collection of objects from the saga of “The Godfather” by Francis Ford Coppola as well as history books, including a biography of the Russian president, Vladimir Putin.
