While it may not be the first brand we think of when it comes to photography, the truth is that Honor has been releasing smartphones with very powerful and reliable cameras for several years now. That’s how it is with the new one Magic6 Prowhich adds a whopping 280 megapixels between the three cameras of the photography module, dubbed Falcon.
The main camera with a diameter of 23 mm is equipped with a 50-megapixel sensor with a diagonal of 1/1.3 inches, has PDAF focusing and an optical stabilizer. In addition, this camera can use an aperture of f1.4 and f2, which, according to the manufacturer, allows for greater depth of field when shooting close-ups, as well as achieving the typical star effect with powerful light sources.
The 13mm ultra-wide-angle lens, in turn, replicates the 50-megapixel resolution, but in this case it opts for a 1/2.88-inch sensor and a fixed aperture of f2.
In the case of a 68mm f2.6 telephoto lens, it’s surprising to find 180 megapixels of resolution packed into a 1/1.5-inch sensor, which is quite large for a telephoto lens. focal length of a mobile phone.
Obviously, this excess resolution makes it possible to zoom in with computer photography, promising good results up to 5x and the ability to zoom up to 100x.
Among the new features we also find a feature dubbed by Honor as Motion AI Sensimg, which apparently uses artificial intelligence to capture the actions happening at a certain moment in a very short period of time.
On the video front, the Magic6 Pro can record at 4K resolution and 60fps with its three rear cameras.
Apart from photography, the Magic6 Pro features a 6.8-inch LTPO display with NanoCrystal Shield glass, a Qualcomm Snapdragob 8 Gen 3 processor, and a 5600mAh battery.
The phone also stands out for having a new AI-powered feature that allows you to control the phone with your eyes. This feature allows you, for example, to navigate or zoom on the map using eye gestures and even control external devices connected to your phone.
