The Nintendo Switch 2 would have just received the announcement of a new game that will also be released on PS5 and Xbox Series.

All indications are that the Nintendo Switch 2 has been delayed, leaving many companies unable to announce the launch of their next games for the new console. Such is the case with Playtonic Games, which announced the launch Yooka-Replaylee for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendowithout specifying the Switch, which may be expecting it to not make it to the hybrid console, or for its successor to do so as well.

The game, announced in the summer for PC, can be enjoyed in advance at the EGX London 2024 event from October 25 to 27, where Playtonic Games will show an updated version of the Glitterglaze Glacier arena. Thus, players will be able to see for the first time visual and gameplay improvements included in the new updated version of Yooka-Laylee.which premiered in 2017.

Thus, Yooka-Replaylee will be the definitive and improved version of the independent 3D platformer developed by the creators of such classic games as Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country. The updated version will include new challenges, improved mechanics and updated aesthetics. Players will be able to explore vast open worlds alongside character duo Yuka and Layli, now accompanied by an orchestral soundtrack. Additionally, new collectible coins, customization options, and a map will be added to make navigation easier.
