In addition, the PP paid special attention to the well-being of family members of cancer patients, especially in pediatric cases, as well as the importance of ensuring timely access to diagnosis and treatment in the field of pediatric oncology.

“We are proposing legislative measures not only to guarantee access times, but also to improve the quality of life for those caring for their loved ones. We believe in introducing mechanisms to facilitate carer reconciliation and changing the Cancer Forgetfulness Act. include patients in treatment,” the manifesto says.

It also emphasizes the importance of work integration for those affected by the disease and their families, and expresses its commitment to promoting measures that promote flexibility, readaptation and the necessary support in the work environment.

He also called for the transfer of political commitments to the €4 billion European Cancer Plan 2021 to ensure equality in access to diagnosis and treatment in Spain.
