The release of The Thaumaturge on PC is delayed at the last minute. Will this affect the Xbox version?

A few days ago we repeated new details of The Thaumaturge, a new video game released by 11bit Studios and developed by former CD Projekt Red employees and which aims to be one of the role-playing video games to consider in 2024. because of the story the developer has behind it.

Unfortunately, today we have to announce that the video game finally won’t release on the scheduled date. The publisher says it will be released a little later because the release window didn’t match the title. The game will be released on March 4th.first in various stores available on PC and later on consoles such as Xbox Series.

Will The Thaumaturge delay affect the Xbox version when it releases later this year?

11bits Studios itself confirms this The video game has already completed development and the codes have been sent for press analysis, so development should not affect the creation and completion of the console version. What we don’t know is whether they will push back the video game’s tentative Xbox release date a few days after the PC release.

Action in Thaumaturge will not be a priority as it will focus more on the story and exploration of the world. The video game is set in an alternate Warsaw in the early 20th century, where the protagonist receives help and becomes involved in a dispute with a member of the royal court.

Developer Fool’s Story is responsible for the development of Thaumaturge, and its future also lies with CD Projekt, as they will be responsible for creating a remake of the first Witcher. The reimagining of the first video game, Geralt of Rivia, will use the Unreal Engine 5.
