The two health centers that Almendralejo opened begin this Monday administering the flu and covid vaccine for this year’s autumn-winter campaign.

The way these vaccines are administered varies and how it is administered will depend on the medical center. Thus, for users of the San Roque Medical Center who wish to receive a dose, the appropriate nurse will set the day and time for the dose to be administered.

For San Jose users, pre-registration only will be required for pregnant women, children and those under 70 years of age. For other users, a time slot is reserved, which runs from ten to twelve in the morning, from Monday to Friday. Entry to the vaccination area will be through an emergency door, and the health center will remind you that you must bring your health card to the center to receive the vaccine.

Pregnant women and minors

Pregnant women should contact their midwife and make an appointment, and for children the timing will be determined by the pediatrician. All patients will be treated in medical centers and not by car. Those who need to travel by car should contact customer service.

By SES, they hope to reach 75 percent in older people and exceed 60 percent in pregnant women and people at risk for the disease. The campaign will end on January 31 next year.
