The Vostell Museum in Malpartida is hosting an exhibition inspired by the principles of the Olympic Games.
He Vostell Museum in Malpartida Caceres will light its own olympic flame with the exhibition “OLYMPIA. Alliance of Sports, Education and Art”. A selection of graphic works inspired spirit of games which can be visited from next 26 Julycoinciding with the Paris event.

fifty artistsfrom five continents, created this collection to commemorate One Hundred Years of Modern Olympism in 1992. Collection from the series Olympic Suitecentenary and which was originally exhibited at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. However, the Happening Vostell archive holds one of the 250 published copies, which also includes lithographs and silkscreens.
The presentation will take place at the address: 8:30 pm. the above mentioned day and will include the participation of a Paralympic triathlete from Extremadura. Kini Carrasco and the Secretary General of Culture of the Government of Extremadura, Francisco Palomino.
With this exhibition, the Malpartideño Museum solemnly closes the fifth edition of the program. “Under the Stars”. An event that allowed residents to enjoy video art, flamenco and improvised music in the open air, aimed at attracting avant-garde and innovationcharacteristics of Vostell, in rural areas.
