To the joy of his thousands of Peruvian followers, The Weeknd confirmed his arrival in our country. The winning artist of the biggest musical awards and a Diamond Awardopened new dates on his tour of Latin America, which includes LimeMonterrey, Buenos Aires and Guadalajara.
The singer, songwriter and record producer will perform in our city in October. The ‘Save your tears’ singer arrives as part of his successful world tour, ‘After Hours til dawn tour’ which includes 43 dates, with stops in Europe and Latin America. This is the first time that The Weeknd’s Peruvian fans will be able to enjoy two of the most successful albums of his career, ‘After Hours’ (2020) and ‘Dawn FM’ (2022) live.
The tour is one of the biggest productions of the artist’s career and his proposal combines elements of theater and performing arts to recreate a night out in a club, in which visual and sound worlds will merge.
Let’s remember that ‘Die For You‘, the remix of The Weeknd and Ariana Grande, reached number 1 on the Billboard charts, confirming that the musician has been making history as the first artist to reach 105 million monthly listeners on Spotify, which made him the number 1 musician on the world chart on this platform. He also released his first concert album, The Weeknd Live At SoFi Stadium, and his hit “Starboy” returned to the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 for the first time since 2017.
The Weeknd will arrive in our country on October 22 to give a concert at the San Marcos Stadium.
