This area of the Elden Ring DLC was overlooked, but fans point to the key to the game’s biggest mystery
The Elden Ring expansion debunks some of the theories that fans had during their time in the Midlands. Many players thought that those clouds in the center of the map indicated access to the Shade of Erdtree. Finally, the Temple of Mog was the location of travel to the Shadowlands, although this central area did not dispel its mystery. Fans have formed a really interesting theory to explain the formation of the world.
Elden Ring DLC Area That Fuels Conspiracy Theories Among Fans
It all comes from a place marked on the map of the Kingdom of Shadows. In the starting area there is a huge pillar called “Containment Column”. When you arrive, you’ll activate an elevator that will take you upstairs where there’s a chest containing Ancient Dragon Forgestone, a key material for upgrading a base weapon to level +25, the maximum allowed by this scale.
But next to the chest lies a tombstone with the following message: “The Heart of Middle-earth. All forms of Death come here only to be crushed.” Curiously, to read it, you need to place the camera at a point where the sky opens up in a special color. When dawn or dusk comes, only this section of the sky lights up with the characteristic color of Middle-earth: gold.
The reference to the base game map is not accidental. If you combine the two maps, the location of the column coincides with the center of Middle-earth, those clouds in the center of the map that supposedly cover the sea. In English, the column is called “Suppressing Tower”, which can also be translated as “suppress”.
For many, the Shadowlands are a contrast to the Midlands, two worlds that were once connected. Who caused the shutdown? Probably Marikain his plan to become a deity after the meteorites that brought the Fingers and the other elements from beyond the stars. Before the existence of the Shadow of Erdtree was known, hints of Messmer Tepes pointed to a history lost and hidden by those who controlled the order of the circle. It is clear that they wanted to erase the existence of this territory.
But the most disturbing thing happens next. Many users have noticed that several fingers are clearly visible on the card, as if the card were a palm.In fact, three of them correspond to the Finger Ruins in the DLC.
Is Miyazaki sending a message that all of Elden Ring’s knowledge is controlled by an alien race? Secret on the air.
