This was the second electric car from the manufacturer, which already has seven. Now its range has been updated and simplified.

The Opel Mokka, 4.15 meters long, replaces the Mokka X, released in 2017. Offered with heat engines -101 and 136 hp – and s electromechanics, also 136 hp.and with which it offered a flight range of 335 km. At the end of 2022, this SUV will also go on sale with second electric motor with a power of 156 hp. and with a larger battery, with which it could travel 408 km without recharging.

Four years after the presentation, the Opel Mokka receives update which, in addition to minor changes in aesthetics and equipment, simplifies the commercial offer of its range.

Thus, this SUV is now offered exclusively with micro-hybrid engine with a volume of 1.2 liters and a power of 136 hp. and with one electric mechanism: 115 kW/156 hp. and which, together with a 54 kWh battery, now allows you to travel 403 kilometers without recharging.

In addition to this change, new Opel Mokkafor which the brand is already taking orders, updates its appearance with the addition of an updated Vizor fascia, which integrates both the headlights and the latest evolution of the brand logo – the Opel Blitz, which is now displayed in black. In addition, the headlights, like the recent Opel Frontera, have the shape of three light blocks.

In keeping with Opel’s latest designs, the Mokka does away with chrome elements and now features black stripes to highlight its shape. Except, your front bumper there was a little redesigned to improve aerodynamicsas well as its alloy wheels.

Interior with lots of technology

But according to Opel itself, the “biggest change” in this car comes inside. At the technological level, the biggest innovation is the inclusion new multimedia system and navigation, which is displayed on a new 10-inch digital media screen, including voice recognition and wireless connectivity with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. It works intuitively using widgets – as if it were smartphone– and allows you to customize its appearance using different color schemes.

This multimedia screen now includes navigation system with ChatGPT and with map updates available over the air.

In electric version of this model, in addition, the system searches and offers specific routes that include charging stations. In addition, the driver will have another screen the same size as the dashboard, and also customizable.

The new Opel Mokka is offered with two trim levels: Access Edition and the sportier and more comprehensive GS. The brand has already announced its prices in Germanyand the electric version starts with 36,740 euros. The starting price of the micro-hybrid version in this country is 27,640 euros.
