Sometimes good wine and excellent cuisine go together perfectly. This Argentinian wine bar in the district Arts & Entertainment of downtown Miami offers a wide selection of Malbecs Y Merlots South American dishes to accompany a menu in which the Duck confitthe Crispy Brie and eight different types of empanadas. Paula Costa, owner and creator of Bunbury, believes the dedication of the staff and the freshness of the menu items, from the steak to the pastas, are what earned it so much praise on Yelp. “We are all obsessed with quality. We have a lot of quality control. Most of the recipes come from my grandmother or my mother-in-law. We honor our ancestry, so freshness is top of mind,” Costa said.

Jaguar Sun is home to one of Miami’s best martinis, which you can sip dramatically at the square bar or order in a shareable format that comes in some kind of adorable novelty pitcher. Much of its success, in addition to the consistently outstanding food, cocktails and service, comes from being one of those rare places where you always have a good time. The staff is a small team of extroverts hell-bent on making sure your glass is never empty. There are about five rotating pasta variations on the menu, plus other great dishes like shimmering Parker House rolls, oysters and a crudo that you will never regret having ordered. But you don’t have to follow any tips to have fun at Jaguar Sun, the hardest part is going; they will take care of the rest.
