Three unreleased Apple products that they have been working on for years have been leaked. Vision Pro was just the beginning

In the middle of MWC week in Barcelona, when Apple seems reluctant to introduce anything new there, the spotlight on the company’s progress turns to Mark Gurman. The latest Bloomberg analyst newsletter provided details on futures AirPods, smart ring and even AR glasses.

There are three types gadgets that will be connected to each other because they will have common functions and also replace each other. Gurman described them in some detail, although we already told you that their appearance on the market does not seem imminent.

A ring with which you can rule everyone… And replace your Apple Watch

The fact that Apple is preparing smart ring it takes a long time to come. In fact, there are already patents from 2015 that describe this. Since then they have not stopped patenting elements related to it. In fact, last week EtNews came out with a report in which they withdrew some of these patents and outlined how filings have accelerated in recent months.

All indications are that, although not inevitable, The Apple ring could become a reality soon. The reason for its existence is what Mark Gurman described in his newsletter: it’s an evolution of what many of us already envisioned in the Apple Ring.

And this ring will become An affordable Apple Watch replacement when it comes to health features. Exact prices aren’t being discussed, but Gurman says it will be cheaper than the brand’s smartwatches and will have similar performance that will be streamed to the iPhone through the Health and Fitness apps without the need for a screen. They have a watch.

Returning to the issue of price, Gurman makes it clear that Apple I’m thinking of offering this as a subscription. This all ties in with the idea of locking the iPhone buyer into the ecosystem at a lower price than the Apple Watch, given that it’s clear it won’t be compatible with Android phones.

Real Apple Glass, nothing to do with Vision Pro

In Apple Vision Pro we find a virtual reality viewer equipped with more than a dozen cameras, allowing us to see the real environment with virtual elements overlaid. But at the end of the day, this is a device that, in order to realize its benefits, must depart in design from conventional glasses.

The actual glasses with similar frames are the ones Apple is currently developing. features similar to Amazon and Meta. Gurman doesn’t talk too much about them, but does talk about their capabilities for recording video, playing music, or getting information using voice commands.

Deserves special attention how will they somehow replace AirPods through the integration of speakers that provide sound reproduction, as well as artificial intelligence capabilities. Apple appears to still be exploring whether to add healthcare features.

As for the price, it clearly indicates a more economical product than the Vision Pro. Of course, although it’s not mentioned, they tend to be more expensive than AirPods.

The evolution of AirPods is getting closer

The third gadget in question that Gurman refers to is actually an old friend, as it is AirPods. Of these, in recent years we have also been involved in numerous patents related to the addition of health sensors such as measure heartbeat and more.

Now Gurman adds an idea “make them smarter” adding much more advanced sensors and again referencing artificial intelligence. He’s even talking about adding cameras that would be used to sense the environment rather than record video. What comes to mind here is something like adaptive and 100% accurate noise reduction, unlike what we have now.

If these devices ever become a reality, that day doesn’t seem close

Everything Mark Gurman comments about these gadgets ends with a futile phrase in which he says that perhaps “none of these products will see the light of day.” And he’s right, considering that ultimately they’re just some aspects of the business that Apple is studying.

That is, the development of these products goes in parallel with the classic iPhone, iPad and Mac, but in no case are they a priority or with a very clear launch idea, as was the case with Vision Pro. in case of interest in the market, It doesn’t look like they’re going to exit in the short term..
