“Tomorrow I will see if I can continue to participate in the tournament”

Serbian Novak Djokovic On Monday, he assured that he felt pain in his right knee in the 1/8 finals match of the tournament. Roland Garros against Argentina Francisco Serundolo and said he would undergo tests on Tuesday to see if he could continue.

“At the end of the game I didn’t feel any pain because I took the medicine. I took a few tests which came back positive, but tomorrow we will do more tests and see if I can continue playing,” the player said.

Djokovic, who noted he had been experiencing discomfort in his right knee for several weeks, said he was thinking about retiring during the match but wanted to give the medication a chance to see if it could be fixed.

“I could barely move, I didn’t want to do long exchanges, and he noticed this and dropped me a lot, I was moving a lot. I couldn’t run,” he said.
