Traffic restrictions to mark Euro 2024 celebrations

In addition to the above, and due to the work related to the preparations for the event, from the early morning of July 15, 2024, there will be traffic restrictions that will affect some lanes of the Plaza de Cibeles.

The restriction of traffic on the previously mentioned streets and adjacent roads in order to ensure the safety of the roads and citizens may be expanded or changed depending on the influx of the public and the needs that may be assessed by the authorities personally.

The traffic restrictions are expected to last until approximately 24 hours on July 15, 2024, although they may be extended until late morning on July 16, 2024 depending on public influx.

The Madrid City Council recommends that citizens use public transport, avoid travelling in private vehicles in areas where traffic is restricted and/or limited, and for long-distance travel use the M30 and M40.
