Tristan Thompson explains why he cheated on Khloe Kardashian

The NBA champion is on an apology tour with the Kardashian family, in which he addresses his past infidelities and the family consequences they have caused and attempts to make amends. He’s already spoken with Khloe, Kim Kardashian, Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner and Rob Kardashian about this issue, but his most recent discussion was with Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian.

His repentant breakup, naturally, was documented for viewing on the latest episode of “The Kardashians.”

Speaking with Kylie, Thompson apologized for being “young and stupid” when it came to betraying her sister by sharing a kiss with the makeup mogul’s former best friend, Jordyn Woods. Kylie graciously admitted her mea culpa and noted that she too had grown from that experience.

However, Courtney pushes back against Thompson’s meeting with her in an attempt to find out why he has cheated on her sister multiple times.

“The day after work, do you feel anything?” she asked the Cleveland Cavaliers player, who has two children with Khloe — True, 5, and Tatum, 1.

“For me personally, when I cheat, I feel disgusting guilt the next day,” he said before explaining why he reiterated this. “I was cheating just for an act, cheating just for a feeling, but at the same time, it really came down to I didn’t know how to love because that’s how I was raised.

“What I saw from my father, how he treated my mother, like a child, the trauma you feel when you see that, because you can’t protect your mother because you’re so young and Because your mom tells you it’s okay, you basically numb your feelings of being scared or sad. “It’s my form of a defense mechanism.”

Despite that clarification, Kourtney remained unhappy and said, “I don’t think you deserve Khloe or that the actions you’ve taken are something she deserved.”

In 2022, Thompson apologized to Khloe for having a child with another woman.

“Khloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I’ve put you through. “You don’t deserve the way I’ve treated you over the years,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “My actions definitely don’t match the way I see you. I have immense respect and love for you. No matter what you think. Again, I am very sorry.”
