A Turkish Airlines pilot died during a flight from Seattle to Istanbul, Turkey, on the northwest coast of the United States.

“When first aid to our captain failed, the cabin crew…decided to make an emergency landing, but he died before landing,” Yahya Ustun said.
The Airbus A350 landed in New York and arrangements were made to transfer passengers to Turkey.
Flight TK204 took off from Seattle shortly after 7:00 pm (local time) on Tuesday.
