Two health specialists who practice in the province of Cádiz have been finalists in the Doctoralia Awards 2022, awards that recognize the work of health professionals based on the assessments made of them by their own patients and other colleagues in the sector. In this year’s awards, two doctors from Cádiz have been finalists in their respective specialties.
In the area of ‘Anesthesia and pain management’Doctoralia highlights the work of Dr. Diego Benitez Couple, graduated in Medicine from the University of Cádiz and trained nationally and internationally in interventional pain treatment techniques. He is also a professor of Interventional Ultrasound for the treatment of pain by the Spanish Pain Society.
Among his training, he stands out as a specialist in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation and an expert in the use of radiofrequency techniques and in Muculoskeletal Ultrasound.
Dr. Benítez Pareja was also previously recognized by Doctoralia: in 2018, 2019 and 2021 for “Excellent service” and in 2020 he was the winner of these awards in his specialty.
According to the health website, he practices at the Sinalgia Clinic in Cádiz.
The second doctor recognized for his health work is Dr. Juan Casar Garciafinalist in the ‘Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation’ area.
Also with a degree in Medicine from the University of Cádiz, Casar García has developed extensive training in different fields of the specialty, especially in musculoskeletal pathology and pain treatment. His training includes a Master’s degree in the comprehensive approach to ultrasound-guided spasticity (University of Salamanca), a Master’s degree in ultrasound-guided interventional techniques (University of Seville), Accreditation by the Spanish Pain Society for performing ultrasound-guided interventional techniques and University Expert in the Treatment of Pain (University of Cádiz).
He currently carries out his activity at the High Resolution Hospital of La Janda, in Vejer de la Frontera, as well as at the Sinalgia Pain Clinic in Cádiz.
