Health Week will take place at UNNOBA from 21st to 24th November. Within this framework, information, prevention and health promotion activities will be open to the university community in both university headquarters.
The initiative is promoted by the Academic Institute for Human Development and involves the participation of actors from the region’s health system.
In the city of Junín, the planned events are as follows:
-Tuesday, November 21:
9 to 12 in University Welfare, promoting organ, cell and tissue donation. Awareness “Organ donation is life giving” by Fernanda Pirelli, Head of HIGA Junín Procurement Unit. The activity is for the university community and the general public.
Sarmiento and Newberry from 9 am to 2 pm: Led by Juan Andrés Morales from the National Sexual and Reproductive Health Program, Contraceptive Methods and EPS, Health Region III.
9am to 12noon in University Wellness (Canteen Workshop): National Dissemination Program on Epilepsy, led by Jose Caruso, for the University community and the general public.
From 9 am to 1 pm, at the Academic Institute of Human Development (Italy and Newberry): National Immunization Program: Adult Immunization, led by Luciana Lovlen, for the university community and the general public.
Renal health care by Junín Renal Health Center, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., in the Eva Peron Building.
President Alfonsín Building from 11 am to 2 pm: Primary and secondary prevention of diabetes. Blood glucose measurement by Claudio Dituro, Health Area III.
-Wednesday, November 22:
9 am to 1 pm, Elvira Rawson Building (Teacher’s Room): “Communication of the current situation of dengue in Junín, Buenos Aires” by the Directorate of Zoonoses and Epidemiology Sector of the Ministry of Health, Government of Junín. Intended for teachers, non-teachers, students of all careers.
9:30 am to 12 noon, Eva Peron Building (Aula Magna). CPR workshop for firefighters. In charge of IADH.
From 12 to 13, vaccination against Argentine hemorrhagic fever for firefighters by the IADH, Health Secretariat of the Government of Junín.
From 9 to 12, in University Wellbeing. Promoting the donation of organs, cells and tissues by Fernanda Pirelli.
