URBAS turnover reaches 112 million euros with an Ebitda of 7 million
URBAS, The company, which specializes in sustainable infrastructure and buildings, property development, renewable energy and services, completed the first six months of 2024 with a turnover of 112 million euros, compared to 151 million in the same period the previous year.
The company noted that the results were influenced orderly restructuring construction companies carried out by URBAS to optimize business, in order to avoid overlaps and take advantage of synergies following inorganic growth in recent years.
Gross operating result (Ebitda) was again positive and reached 7 million euroscompared to 18 million in the first half of 2023. Thus, the company’s Ebitda margin is 6% of income.
Forecasts for the coming years indicate that after completion of the restructuring process carried out by URBAS, steady growth billing is supported by an increase in the number of international projects.
In this sense, international turnover (28 million euros) meant in the first six months of the year more than 25% of the total turnover, with a forecast that in 2028 it will be more than 50% of the total.
For their part, the energy and real estate businesses continue to perform well, with an Ebitda margin of 13% and 8%respectively. In addition, the company reiterates its strong commitment to the services segment (Seniors and Healthcare), contributing positively to sales 0.6 million euros in the first half of the year.
The operating result reaches 3.2 million euros, and the company’s net profit is 1.6 million eurosdemonstrating the solidity of the results obtained even in the midst of the restructuring process of the construction business.
In accordance with its policy of rigor and financial discipline, URBAS has managed to maintain a stable level of financial debt. 201 million euroswhich corresponds to the level reached at the end of last year.

In any case, all the work done already bears fruit once. again achieving positive indicators in terms of Ebitda, operating results and net profit and depicting a promising future for our company,” explained its President Juan Antonio Acedo.
The group indicated that it continues to move upward by developing a sustainable and streamlined platform through which it plans to consolidate as “the global benchmark in efficient housing, water, renewable energy, clean fuels, decarbonization infrastructure and now WithSeniors and Healthcare Segment.
