“We have problems with the brakes again, they are unpredictable”
Marc Márquez had problems throughout the season with the brakes on his Ducati, which increased their temperature and prevented him from having complete control over where to stop the bike. This problem has already brought him to the ground in Austin and which on other occasions has been difficult, as at the beginning, this Sunday in Japan, where he lost some positions on the first lap, although he had already gained many places.
“It was a super boring race, no overtaking, just maintaining the pace. But I’m happy, with the medium rear tire I didn’t feel as comfortable as with the soft one yesterday in the sprint, but today it was very risky. go for a soft race. “It was a difficult weekend, but we are back on the podium,” concluded driver Gresini.
Marquez had an intestinal problem over the weekend and was not at his best this Sunday.
“Before the start I noticed this more, during the race with adrenaline, paracetamol and caffeine you save, then there will be a decline after a few hours. It was a mentally intense race, rally type, without failures, one after another. “It’s probably boring for a fan, but it’s very difficult to overtake on this track,” he insisted.
Marquez started 9th on the grid, Jorge Martin 11th and Jack Miller 14th, but all three found themselves battling for fourth place just a few corners apart.

“By putting everything together and being perfect, we can be with them, with those in front, but we have no way of making up for them when they leave us. Trying to do this, I went on the attack. The first corner and there I devoted myself to the control of Enea Bastianini, which scared me a lot in the last laps,” he said.
