The former football player and current owner of Inter Miami has often mentioned his obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) caused by his Tourette syndrome. The case of David Beckham is quite common, since according to the Spanish Society of Neurology, 50% of TS patients suffer from OCD.
In her YouTube documentary, ‘The Secret Life of Lele Ponce’ (2020), the Venezuelan singer and ‘influencer’ said that she suffers from Tourette syndrome and can move forward with professional help and the help of her family. “I have a lot of tics. It is tiring. “I get a lot of headaches,” he said during a session filmed for the documentary.

Actor Dash Mihok, best known for his work on the series ‘Ray Donovan’ (2013-2020), is an ambassador for the Tourette Association of America and has spoken about his disorder several times. “It’s a hard disease to understand,” he said in an interview with the late journalist Larry King.
Another famous person suffering from Tourette syndrome is Zac Efron. In her case, she suffers from a motor tics that involves compulsively scratching her arms.

Actor Dan Aykroyd, best known for his roles in ‘The Blues Brothers’ (1980) and ‘Ghostbusters’ (1984), is another famous person suffering from Tourette syndrome. He was diagnosed when he was 12 years old and in addition, he also suffered from Asperger’s.
Former US goalkeeper Tim Howard said he experienced the first symptoms of Tourette syndrome at the age of 9 to 10 when he was playing for Manchester United. Despite this he became one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
