When do summer sales start and end at Zara, Mango, H&M, El Corte Inglés…
There are usually summer discounts. the most anticipated thing of the year. With them begins the season of searching for the best clothes and accessories for the summer season and the opportunity to purchase autumn-winter products at a better price.
Previously, the period of summer sales in stores was limited to the period from July 1 to the end of August. However, in 2012 Government released campaignsallowing each company or store to choose specific dates on which to hang their posters with attractive discounts.
This stage is also critical for business due to increase in sales and the ability to manage stock of items. In this year’s winter sales, Spaniards spent an average of 345 euros, up 25% compared to 2023, according to data published by the Cetelem Observatory.
Major clothing brands begin summer sales in mid-June, between the 12th and 22nd; or early July. Since companies usually don’t announce the start date of this campaign well in advance, we have to look back and see what strategy they followed last year.
- Index: The Inditex group (Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Oysho…) can start their discounts on June 22 in physical stores, and the day before they will begin, as always, online and in the app.
