In the narration, and to support his request, the prosecutor stated that Poulos had manipulative behavior motivated by jealousy, a fact for which -according to the statements of the young woman’s mother and her best friend- he came to control his friends, check frequently her social networks and pressure her not to attend certain events or to stay away from other people.

This even led him to hire a private investigator in Colombia to follow the DJ at her personal and professional events in the capital of the Republic. It was Poulos himself who confessed to him what he had done, after pointing out that he had seen a photograph in which one of his friends was holding his leg. Due to this type of behavior, Valentina had already argued and distanced herself from the 35-year-old man, but she resumed the relationship a few months later.

This hypothesis gained strength after hearing the statement from the Uber driver who picked up Poulos at the El Dorado airport in Bogotá on January 19.
