In a photo posted by Smith, the actor poses with a group of students at The Screen Acting studio, where he took acting classes. Smith thanked his acting coach and filmmaker Aaron Speiser, who works at the studio, for all his support in this message.:

“33 years of my acting career, and there are still days when I feel like a Philadelphia kid living in debt, although I know that I was incredibly lucky that I worked as an actor all this time. my friend, teacher, and mentor Aaron Speiser, whom I affectionately refer to as “coach,” that the days when I feel like I’m out of place are getting fewer and fewer.”
