Byron, MN (KROC-AM News) – A Dodge County woman was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash at a recently updated intersection near Rochester on Saturday.

The State Patrol responded to the crash between Rochester and Byron. This happened around 4:30 pm
State accident reports indicate the Land Rover and a 1969 Ford Mustang collided at the intersection of County Road 3 and Highway 14. The Land Rover was turning from southbound County Road 3 onto Highway 14 and the Mustang was heading west on the highway. .14 When both the vehicles collided.
The passenger in the Mustang, identified as 61-year-old Susan Marie Pearson of Kasson, was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Mustang, 68-year-old Joseph Pearson of Kasson, and the driver of the Land Rover, 39-year-old Dan Chen of Byron, were not injured.
The report said alcohol was not involved in the crash and all three people were trapped. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Byron Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the crash.
