Microsoft’s strategy of launching Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Game Pass from day one appears to have paid off. Miles Leslie, deputy creative director at Treyarch, who worked on Call of Duty for 16 years, commented in an interview with the BBC that the release of Black Ops 6 on Game Pass helped convince hesitant players to give the game a try. “We saw that it allowed people who might have been wary, who might have had some resistance, who might have thought, ‘I haven’t played in a while,’ to actually come back and give the title a try,” he explains .
Season 1 of Black Ops 6 will begin on November 14, 2024.and details about what to expect have already been announced. Additionally, there is another Call of Duty game coming in 2025, which is rumored to be a sequel to Black Ops 2. The company must now work to keep players engaged with the game and the platform.
