Noboa’s victory has been confirmed in 9 out of 11 referendum questions in Ecuador after a quick count

Quito, April 21 (EFE).- The rapid count carried out by the National Electoral Council (CNE) confirmed the victory of President Daniel Noboa in nine of the eleven questions of the referendum and popular consultation held this Sunday. The President of the CNE, Diana Attament, indicated in a public appearance that the only two questions in which Noboa did not gain popular support were those related to accepting international arbitration in any jurisdiction and opening the possibility of hourly work in which ‘No’ was 64.88% and 68.83% respectively. Of the remaining questions, which are basically related to security issues, according to a CNE quick count, the ‘yes’ to each is more than 60%, with a margin of error of 1% and thus confirming a verbal poll.
