Alex Cora defends Carlos Correa for the Mets case

The actual Res Sox managerAlex Cora, came out in defense of his countrymanthe stellar shortstop Carlos Correaafter the Puerto Rican has been accused of allegedly suffering from a severe ankle injury that could affect his performance on the field of play in the future.
It should be noted that Correa still has not signed a contract with the mets because he did not successfully pass the medical examination. The same case happened a week before when she underwent tests with Gigantes and gave the same result.
However, this Monday Red Sox manager assured that Correa has nothing wrong in his ankle or leg and that he is totally healthy, because from his own experience he has seen it develop closely when he was part of the coaching staff with the Houston Astros.
“He (Correa) is going to be fine. He has shown that he moves well, that he is still explosive defensively and still runs the bases well.” Cora said in an interview during the game between Criollos de Caguas and Cangrejeros de Santurce.
In the same way, the boss of the “Patirrojos” revealed that, like many other clubs, Boston also contacted agent Scott Boras to negotiate Correa’s contract, however, he did not want to confess how much money they put on the table.
