We have entered that period of the year when almost every day there is some interesting announcement about new video games who are yet to come, with great events that have happened since the sad end of E3, as the main characters, and PlayStation was one of the first to announce its news with Game status which threw a strange surprise and left us with a few release dates, but which didn’t have any bombshell that stood out much.

Sony’s event kicked off with a speech from one of its greats exclusive for the next few months, agreementwhich we had almost no details about and now we know is a game 5v5 multiplayer action with a sci-fi theme and spirit that inevitably reminds us of the Guardians of the Galaxy series. This is so important to PlayStation that they spent over ten minutes introducing some of the main characters and explaining how to play.

After Concorde we had a constant stream of trailers with gameplay scenes wide range of games, with a strong presence of Chinese action-oriented products, among which stands out The Ballad of Antara, or Where the Winds Meetthat look great. Sony hasn’t forgotten about PC gamers and has finally confirmed the release date Release of God of War Ragnarok in compatible; and also long rumors Before dawn for PS5 and PC.

Konami didn’t miss the meeting and let us see the new video preview Remake of Silent Hill 2, for which we also have a release date; Bye Capcom again became one of the main characters of the event with a trailer Wild Monster Hunters. However, perhaps the announcement that caused the most excitement was return of Astrobot, a friendly robot that welcomes all PS5 players to one of the best action-adventure platformers in years (and for free). The new game, set to debut in September, promises to be bigger and better in every way, with plenty of nods to the great PlayStation brands and console history.

In short, there were some very interesting announcements in the nearly 30 minutes that this new state of play lasted, although one inevitably has to think that what was missing was that bombshell that would have lifted fans’ spirits and made us look even more excited about the future of this platform.
