iOS 18
The hottest version of the iPhone system, iOS 18, comes with new features aimed at personalization, entertainment and productivity.
- Icons can take on the color of the background image.

- Photos now sort their content by topic.
iPadOS 18
iPadOS 18, the new version of the iPad operating system, gets several new iOS features, mostly related to customization and integrated apps.
- The system now has a Calculator application that will allow us to write operations directly using the Apple Pencil. This feature will also be available in the Notes app.
- We can also take notes by hand at full speed. The system will analyze our writing style to imitate it.
- SharePlay now makes screen sharing easier.
watchOS 11
The Cupertino company promises that its smartwatches will become better with watchOS 11.

- Pregnancy tracking with your watch now provides information about your pregnancy progress.
- Photo Sphere now uses machine learning to suggest photos based on aesthetics, composition and expression.
macOS 15
The new version of the Mac operating system is called macOS 15 Sequoia. The system includes many of the new features we’ve seen before, but there are also certain new features.
- Continuity allows us to mirror iPhone to Mac to view the contents of the smartphone and interact with its applications.
- The Mac can receive notifications from the iPhone and, by clicking on one of them, allows us to interact with the corresponding application.
- Webcam image enhancement features now allow you to completely replace your background.

- Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed: Shadows will be released on Mac this year. We’re talking about a game that will also arrive on PC and consoles in 2024.
Apple Intelligence and Siri
The Tim Cook-led company has finally unveiled its AI strategy. The axis of this is what they call Apple Intelligence.
- Siri is now able to understand our natural language. We can make requests like “play the podcast my wife sent me the other day.”
- The assistant also learns from our context to be more helpful.
- Image generation is a reality. This allows us, for example, to take a photo of a person to create a birthday greeting with their caricatured face.
- If we’re filling out a form and need to add our driver’s license, we can ask the assistant to upload a photo of our license to the gallery so it’s easy to add.
- ChatGPT will be available for free in Siri on iOS 18 and macOS Sequoia later this year without an account.
- Apple Intelligence will be available on devices equipped with A17 Pro and M1 processors and later.
Private cloud computing.
- Apple says it created Private Cloud Compute to “bring iPhone privacy to the cloud.”
