That is why Aston Martin CEO Mike Krak assured that not only last year they were far ahead of expectations, but this year the team is behind the planned plan, which does not leave a pleasant feeling in the team that a driver of Fernando Alonso’s caliber has the financial cushion to achieve good results, which is not expected at the moment.

“Last year, around this time, you said that you were significantly ahead of plan, and now we are far behind the plan. And at the end of the day, we don’t just judge season after season, we also judge race after race,” said the Aston Martin boss.

“So I think we have a plan to develop the team in terms of infrastructure, along the path that we are developing. We have great partners with Honda, we have a great partner with Aramco. so I think there is no reason for negativity,” he continued.

“I think we were better than we thought last year, and I’ve always said that, we’re on an upward trajectory.it will rise or fall depending on what your competitors are doing, but you have to keep the target in sight,” concluded Mike Krak.

So the Aston Martin boss made it clear that the team’s plan is not yet being implemented in a season in which much remains to be done on the track, and perhaps a comeback will occur from the Briton. .
