Asus celebrates its 35th anniversary, strengthening its position as a leader in the development, production and sale of technology and computing solutions in Spain. Asus started the year maintaining its dominance in the motherboard segment with a 46% market share and rising by second position in the VGA market with a share of 23.3%. In addition, Asus is consolidating as third brand in the LCD market, occupying 11.8% of the market thanks to increased sales in the consumer channel. Added to this is the success of integration MiniPC NUC, with which Asus takes second position in the segment with a share of 27%, according to consulting companies.
The company also highlighted its growth in the B2B sector, where, despite its short history, it is strengthening its presence with a wide range of products. The versatility of business solutions that can cover all the technological needs of a company in laptops and desktops, screens, projectors, servers or components makes Asus a strategic ally in the field of digitalization. The Asus business unit operates to serve customers in the business, industrial or financial sectors, as well as in the administration or education and healthcare sectors. The exponential growth of the B2B segment is driven by the company’s dominance in the motherboard market, its growth in the mini PC segment and the consolidation of its monitor line.
The results presented by the company in Spain are based on its commitment to sustainability, which is the fundamental basis of ASUS’ activities at the global and regional level. The company continues to move toward net-zero emissions, a goal it aims to achieve by 2050 for all of its products. Sustainability innovation has enabled ASUS to use 1,600 tons of recycled plastic in its hardware since 2017 and recycle 40,000 tons of e-waste since 2019.
