Austin Butler gave fans the “serotonin boost” they needed after he left Olivia Colman stunned during his appearance on the show. The Graham Norton Show.
The 32-year-old actor, who has been acting since his teens, won a Golden Globe and a BAFTA Award for his role in Baz Luhrmann’s 2022 biographical drama. Elvis and was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor among many other awards.
However, Butler’s success didn’t stop him from becoming a star during his recent TV appearance. The Graham Norton Show.
The actor who will play the lead role in Dune: Part Twoappeared on Friday night’s (February 16) episode of the BBC talk show alongside Josh Brolin, Jodie Foster, Olivia Colman, Wanda Sykes and Lorraine Kelly.
In a rather sweet moment, he admitted: “I’m incredibly starstruck right now. This is amazing,” before walking down the line on the famous orange sofa, gushing over each of his fellow guests.
In a conversation with Wanda Sykes, he said: “Wanda, you are a legend. I love you. You’re amazing,” before telling Lorraine he was “really excited to meet you tonight.”
Butler also praised Hollywood icon Jodie Foster, saying: “Taxi driver that’s one of the reasons I wanted to become an actor.”
But it was his words to Oscar-winning actress and all-around legend Olivia Colman that left her speechless.

“Kinetoscope helped me survive when I had Covid,” he said, prompting the actress to raise her hands to her head in amazement.
Despite receiving critical praise for her roles in Broadchurch, Crown And FavoritePortrayal of Sophie by Colman in the Channel 4 series. Kinetoscope remains a favorite of many members of the British public.
Social media users were quick to praise Butler for his comments.

One person wrote: “Oscar nominations are great and all, but when Austen came out Kinetoscope According to my estimates, it has risen in price by about 500%.”
Another said: “Okay Austin knows who Sophie Chapman is, he just went up in my grades.”
And a third commented: “Austin loves Kinetoscope. This guy knows some serious ball.”
Others called the interaction “helpful” and said, “Austin Butler being smitten by these iconic women is the serotonin boost I need today.”

Butler appeared on the show to promote his latest film. Dune: Part Twoalong with co-star Josh Brolin.
Continuation of the 2021 film. Dune, The second installment in a two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel of the same name, it follows Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) as he teams up with the people of a desert planet to wage war against a common enemy.
It is due in theaters on March 1st.
