Austin Butler says playing music is like “therapy for the soul.”
The 31-year-old actor plays Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s Oscar-nominated 2022 biopic Elvis, and the former Disney star also sings his own music for the film.
I explained this in an interview with the British magazine OK! Magazine: “I started making music before I was active, and music helps me with therapy. But most of all, I want you to be the envy of the world.”
The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star recently revealed that she lent her vocal cords to the Elvis tour and appeared to perform beautifully.
The screen star was nominated for a best actor Oscar for his interpretation of the late King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, but it’s not that simple and the best thing about the music legend’s pipes is encore et encore – with a performance that was repeated 40 times to win the big prize.
Austin was a bad man who had taken away the Southern accent that Elvis had adopted and become a ghost on The Graham Norton Show, and explained, “I can’t afford it.” “Avoir un Accent du Sud. Je me debarrasse de l’accent, but I’ll probably make my vocals stronger than my singing. A song that needed 40 prizes!”
