“I am so proud of the past year. I’m so proud of everything we’ve been able to do, what we’ve been able to see while traveling the world with these two girls (Dakota Kai and IYO SKY). Dakota Kai, we miss you, we love you, and I can’t wait for you to come back so we can be ready. But don’t worry, we’re holding the fort,” she said. (from 56:48 to 57:05)
Bayley on Damage CTRL overcoming hardships in WWE
Damage CTRL has certainly had its ups and downs in the past year, but Bailey is proud of how the band has been able to overcome the odds.
During her conversation about Strike WWEThe role model noted that Damage CTRL has gone through some hardships, but she is very proud that the band has made it through.
“I am so happy that they are here and that we actually got through the whole year. Like you said, we had a hard time when I thought it wouldn’t work. But now, without Dakota (Kai), we are still in the same place in the main event and right behind the championship. So I’m very proud and very grateful,” she added. (from 57:06 to 57:24)
IYO SKY won the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on July 1 by handcuffing Becky Lynch to the leader of Damage CTRL. It will be exciting to watch the movement forward if the group is really on the same wavelength or if the main tension remains.
