Borussia Dortmund beat PSG 1-0 in the Champions League semi-finals.

(CNN, Spanish) — Borussia Dortmund took a slight advantage at home after beating Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final. The next meeting will take place in the Parc des Princes on May 7.

The first half was not exciting. PSG had more possession but created fewer dangers, and it was only in the 35th minute, when Niklas Füllkrug opened the scoring for Borussia Dortmund, that the match became more intense and emotional.

This goal, the result of a long pass from Nico Schlotterbeck, was phenomenally controlled by Füllkrug, who knew how to score against Gianluigi Donnarumma.

PSG occasionally appealed to the personalities of Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe, but to no avail. In contrast, it was the German side who came closest to extending their lead thanks to Marcel Sabitzer’s good shot, which was saved by Donnarumma.

However, the second half was more like a Champions League semi-final match. Mbappe was about to score a great goal, but his shot hit the post. In the same game, Achraf Hakimi came close to drawing the game but the ball hit the post again. Minute 51.

PSG’s attack intensified and three minutes later Dortmund were saved again by a good cross from Marquinhos, which Fabian Ruiz headed in but missed the target.

Dortmund squandered another golden opportunity in the 60th minute after Jadon Sancho broke clear and sent in a cross that Fullkrug sent over the crossbar. A very obvious goal option and those who visit Signal Iduna Park lament.

Luis Enrique moved the PSG bench in the 65th minute in search of a better goal as Bradley Barcola came off and Randal Kolo Muani came on. Front after front.

The French team forgave again in the 80th minute: PSG’s collective game ended at the feet of Dembele, who sent it into the clouds.

The extra match was mutual. The great Sancho in Dortmund opened up space and put his team ahead. At PSG, Mbappe and Marquinhos, who saved the French national team more than once, are always on the alert.

Edin Terzic, Germany coach, made three changes in midfield from the 83rd minute to try to counter the onslaught of PSG, who continued to run out of options.

Is Dortmund’s advantage enough? Despite the score 1:0 and the lack of goals from both teams, the series remains open. The winner will play in the Champions League final on June 1 at Wembley Stadium in London.
