Cardi B further explains why she won’t vote in the 2024 election

On Saturday (May 18) afternoon, Cardi B reaffirmed her pledge not to vote in the 2024 presidential election.

Following SpiritualWord’s Instagram post, the “Bongos” host said, “I know you guys may think I’m being irresponsible for making this statement, but I really just don’t like these candidates. Trump is trying to establish a dictatorship and take away women’s rights, while the other is funding a war in which millions of people are dying. I’ve been through this before when there was a bomb in the hospital and Biden (brushed it off) and lied about how it happened. I don’t want MY VOICE to be part of what happens in the next four years; I just don’t want anything to do with it. Everyone can do as they please. “Local elections matter more to me.”

This development occurred after a lengthy statement in her rolling stone cover story about the upcoming presidential election. Cardi B has expressed her dissatisfaction with Joe Biden and Donald Trump, saying she plans to skip the upcoming US elections. She stated, “I don’t fuck with both of you niggas.”

She interviewed Biden during his 2020 presidential campaign. However, her support for him has waned. “I feel like people have been betrayed,” she said, citing broken promises, high costs of living and low wages. The rapper further explained his frustration: “It’s like f*ck y’all don’t care about nobody. What then frustrates me is that there are (are) solutions to this problem. There is a solution. “I know there is a solution because you spend billions of dollars on every damn thing.”

The musician later criticized US foreign policy, especially regarding the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. “(America) doesn’t pay for endless wars for countries that have been through shit for a very long time,” Cardi said. “There are countries where children are killed every single day, but since (the US) won’t benefit from that country, they won’t help. I don’t like that America wears a superhero cape. We never did anything to be superheroes. “We did everything for our convenience.”
