Criticism of the film “Emilia Perez”: a great moment of cinema signed by Jacques Audiard

Exceptional cinematography, Jacques Audiard returns to leave us surprised and delighted with a new proposal, Emilia Perezmusical thriller époustouflant Campe dans l’Univers des Cartels de la Drogue au Mexique.

Tourné presque entièrement in Spanish, Emilia Perez tells the story of Rita (Zoe Saldaña), a brilliant lawyer working in the cabinet, providing a reputation for defending criminals.

Malheureuse dans son travail, elle voit l’occasion d’échapper à son quotidien, when Manitas (Carla Sofia Gascon), a Mexican drug dealer, demands help in executing a plan that paufine en secret depuis des années : to become a woman who lives today.

The result is amazing! Featuring a daring mise-en-scène that features a variety of sublime pieces of music, Audiard was met with sheer pleasure and delivered a great cinematic moment. To compensate for the prize for female interpretation at the last Cannes festival, actresses Zoe Saldaña, Carla Sofia Gascón and Selena Gomez illuminate the film in the colors of the performances “Poissantes et Bouleversantes”. Possibly an Oscar nomination coming up.
