Emily Blunt said: “I could be Britney” Kimmel then asked the actress why she decided not to become a pop star. Blunt replied:
“Because I realized that I’m not a good dancer and I don’t want to be Britney, I don’t know. “I don’t want to tell you too much because I feel like someone will find these songs that I recorded.”
Emily Blunt revealed that she even has a song. Call which, unfortunately, she will never release.

Emily Blunt has opened up about how she decided to become a pop star despite not knowing how to dance. Judi Dench also advised her not to pursue a career as both a singer and an actress when she first worked with the actress on The Royal Family,
back in 2001.Kimmel asked Blunt what happened after she was asked to sing the song. Call. The actress replied:
“They said, ‘I think you have a good voice and I think you can be a pop star.’ I said, “I can’t dance.” They said, “Don’t worry about it, we will teach you.” It didn’t work. I tried to study and then I did a play… My first job was with Judi Dench, a lady who was incredible and treated me great.
I went to her for advice because I was really nervous about this career that I didn’t know was right for me, and she said, “Oh no, honey, you can’t do both.” You can’t act and do that.”
While we’ll never know what kind of pop star Emily Blunt would have made, it’s safe to say that Judi Dench gave her the right advice. Blunt has become one of the most successful actresses in the industry.
