Cities in Japan’s Ishikawa Prefecture have suffered widespread damage after Monday’s 7.5-magnitude earthquake and several aftershocks that struck western Japan.

These are some of the cities affected by the earthquake:

Wajima City: According to Japanese public broadcaster NHK, fire departments report that 25 buildings, including homes, have collapsed and that people may still be trapped in 14 structures. The fire that broke out on Monday is no longer in danger of spreading, but firefighters are still at the scene. About 200 buildings are believed to have burned on Asaichi Street, a popular tourist area in Wajima, according to NHK.

Suzu City: According to NHK, officials say at least 53 houses collapsed and a building, believed to be a temple, was destroyed and nearby tombs collapsed. Many ships also capsized in the port.

Noto Airport: Around 500 people are stranded after the terminal was damaged. They are provided with food and blankets, but nearby roads are damaged and they cannot move, NHK reports. The airport will remain closed until at least Thursday, NHK reports.

Kanazawa city: At least three houses located on the slopes were damaged.

Nanao City: Aerial images taken by NHK show several places with bare mountain surfaces where landslides could occur.

Shika City: Buildings were damaged, including Togi Hospital, where officials said 70 patients had to be evacuated elsewhere, NHK reported.

Himi City: Roads there have been damaged and concrete walls of many houses have collapsed.

Niigata city: In rural areas, the road passing through rice fields is closed due to cracks and fallen electric poles.

Joetsu City: Cabins along the beach were damaged or washed away and roads into the city were closed, according to NHK.
