Desigual, one of the largest and oldest clothing stores in Puerto Venice, is closing.

The Puerto Venecia shopping center in Zaragoza has undergone several changes in recent months, mainly due to the opening and closing of stores. In February last year it became known that Chain of shoe stores “Kverol” It has finally lowered the blinds on its premises in the shopping center due to the bankruptcy of its Catalan parent company. The store was one of the veterans of the Puerto Venecia shopping center, which opened in 2012. Now, two months later, it has become known that another of the oldest shopping centers will close.

Clothing store Desigual, founded in 1984 and headquartered in Barcelona, ​​is closing its iconic Puerto Venezia location.. One of the largest fashion spaces in the center, with an area of ​​approximately 1,280 square meters, it was one of the first openings and one of those that caused the greatest sensation.

The place was located opposite the lake, and the interior decoration was very original. The ceiling was decorated with glass bottles and the space had a distinctive feel.with the whimsical colors and designs that characterized the store.

The closure comes just weeks after the Inditex group announced an expansion of stores. Stradivari and Pull & Bear.
