Digital Eclipse Confirms 15 Tetris Versions Coming to Tetris Forever

Last August, Digital Eclipse (Atari 50, The Making of Karateka) announced Tetris Forever, an interactive archive of the history of the most popular puzzle game of all time, which we then knew would combine multiple versions of the game.

Today the fifteen versions of the game that will be present in Tetris Forever were announced. They will:

• Tetris (Spectrum Holobyte, 1988, Apple II)
• Tetris (Bullet-Proof Software, 1988, Famicom)
• Khatris – (Bullet-Proof Software, 1990, Famicom)
• Tetris 2 + Bombliss (Bullet-Proof Software, 1990, Famicom)
• Khatris (Bullet-Proof Software, 1991, Game Boy)
• Khatris (Bullet-Proof Software, 1992, NES)
• Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss (Bullet-Proof Software, 1992, Super Famicom)
• Tetris Battle Gaiden (Bullet-Proof Software, 1993, Super Famicom)
• Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss Genteiban (Bullet-Proof Software, 1993, Super Famicom)
• Super Tetris 3 (Bullet-Proof Software, 1994, Super Famicom)
• Super Bombliss (Bullet-Proof Software, 1995, Game Boy)
• Super Bombliss (Bullet-Proof Software, 1995, Super Famicom)
• Super Bombliss DX (Bullet-Proof Software, 1998, Game Boy)

In addition, a brand new Tetris Time Warp game will be included, which has not yet been published. According to Digital Eclipse, it will allow us to “teleport between different eras of Tetris, experiencing a mixture of graphics, game styles and mechanics in real time.”
