Dollar price today January 20, peso opens with gains

Today, Friday, January 20, 2023, the dollar trades at 18.9190 pesos per unit with a downward trend in real time. The peso begins this session gaining ground, after yesterday Thursday it fell 14.31 cents in the exchange rate against the spot interbank dollar that closed at 18.99 units, according to data from the Banxico.
According to the economist Gabriela Siller, on this day the Mexican currency shows an appreciation of 0.21%, equivalent to 4 cents. The exchange rate is around 18.95 pesos per dollar and parity has reached a maximum of 19.0210 and a minimum of 18.8818 pesos per dollar.
