Sesco is the fastest in the European Cup
Slovenia striker Benjamin Sesko is the fastest player at Euro 2024 after completing 36 first-stage matches with a sprint speed of 35.9 kilometers per hour, followed by Romanian Valentin Mihaila with a career mark of 35.8, according to official UEFA statistics.
Sesko, the Slovenian striker, England’s opponent in the last 16 and the Leipzig striker, and Mihayla, the Romanian left winger and Parma, with whom he achieved promotion to Serie A this year, are followed by Switzerland’s Dan Ndoye with 35.7 kilometers per hour to take the podium in the competition. In addition to the top three, Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund ran at 35.5 kilometers per hour; Portugal’s Rafael Leao and Nuno Mendes, who form the dizzying left wing in Roberto Martinez’s starting lineup, did so with odds of 35.4 and 35.2 respectively; in the latter case, the same as Jeremy Fimprong, the Dutch right winger and German Bundesliga champion Xabi Alonso of Bayer Leverkusen. David Jurasek from the Czech Republic reached a top speed of 35.1 kilometers per hour.
Kylian Mbappe, the French phenomenon and Real Madrid footballer, is also in the top 10, in the final part, with a speed of 35 kilometers per hour, as is Scottish defender Paul Tierney, who played for Real Sociedad last season on loan from Arsenal.
These two round out the top ten fastest players at Euro 2024. The first Spaniard to appear in these statistics is Nico Williams, in the top fifteen, with a speed of 34.7 kilometers per hour.
