Faes Farma hires Eduardo Recoder de la Cuadra as CEO

The Board of Directors of Faes Farma unanimously approved the appointment of Eduardo Recoder de la Cuadra, who has more than 20 years of experience in various multinational corporations in the pharmaceutical sector, to the position of CEO. His appointment as chief executive is subject to confirmation at the next general meeting of shareholders, scheduled for June, and his registration will take effect on 1 September.

Eduardo Recorder de la Cuadra Graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Barcelona. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IESE Business School, the Global Enterprise Transformation program from Harvard Business School and the Business Management program from the School of Business Administration (EAE) in Barcelona.


Global responsibilities


In 2007, Eduardo began his professional career in AstraZeneca, where it accumulated for 17 years experience and where he came from at Faes Farma. He began his career as a director of the primary care business unit, served as president in various countries – Portugal, Brazil, Spain – and today served as vice president for Western and Southern Europe at AstraZeneca and vice president of commercial operations at AstraZeneca. Europe and Canada.


The new CEO proposed for Faes Farma has taken on greater global and local responsibility for over 20 years. in Europe and Latin America. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Eduardo was Commercial Director of Grunenthal Spain and worked in Corporate Development, Management Control and Strategic Planning at BASF and BASF Pharma in Germany, the UK and Spain.
